Taking long exposures in London, both day and night, is an exciting challenge that requires some preparation and the right gear. I travel with my tripod and ND filters, scouting different locations to find the perfect vantage points for capturing the speed and movement of day-to-day life. The ND filters allow me to use a low shutter speed of 1 second or longer while maintaining an aperture between f/2.8 and f/6, ensuring that I don’t let in too much light. This technique beautifully captures the dynamic energy of London, creating stunning images that highlight the city's vibrant flow.
Equipment I use :
Sony A7riii - https://amzn.to/3VTcriX
Sigma 14-24 - https://amzn.to/4by8Uwt
Sigma 24-70 - https://amzn.to/3zmvk6n
Rear ND filter - https://amzn.to/3VYEwFY
Nd Filter - https://amzn.to/4cqlYW5
SD card - https://amzn.to/4cxlVaT
The Sigma 14-24 is one of my favourite lenses to capture landscapes, it doesn't have a front lens filter thread it has a rear filter option which goes at the back of the lens which can be a little fiddly.
