Trooping the Colour 2024

Going to the Trooping of the Colour on the 15th of June was an amazing experience. I took my Contax camera and some HP5 film (400ISO), excited to capture the event. The colourful uniforms, the well-coordinated guards, and the impressive parade gave me lots of great photo opportunities. Shooting with black and white film gave the photos a classic feel, really highlighting the tradition of the ceremony. Not realising I only had 24 exposures not 36 I finished the roll pretty fast, but managed to get a roll of Portra 400 from my sister.

All photographs have been developed by AnalougeWonderland and scanned by myself with a DSLR and the Valoi kit.
